Highway traffic in parts of the district in Bali Telagatawang Village, District Sidemen, Karangasem regency, planted banana trees by local residents.
Banana tree as tall as 1.5 meters more or less be seen planted in parts of the damaged road surface and potholes deep enough, according to AFP report from Karangasem, about 80 kilometers east of Denpasar, Monday.

There are at least three banana trees planted by residents in the middle of the highway that connects to the Karangasem and Klungkung.
Some local residents said that, the action of planting a banana is not done as a form of protest against the government which allowed the highway remained in bad condition, but rather as an attempt to provide safety for riders.
